Summary
The 47th Big Fireworks Festival will be held on 14th, August, 2026.
It will start at 19:00 and last before 20:30.
The following is an explanation of the theme from the committee.
The theme of this year is “applause”.
For the momentary spark souring into the dark sky, claps will be distilled naturally. We would send such an emotional moment from here, Yamagata.
Fireworks are not only being watched but also making an atmosphere with people gathering around.
Voices and claps, the time sharing with someone, “applause” is made when these matters work together.
So, we will try to make “memorable night” rather than merely fireworks.
